"I brought my partner a couples massage tutorial for his birthday - but, in the end, it was very much a present to our relationship and us both. Carolyn's studio is inviting, inspiring and sets a deep grounding for a joyful and sincere session. Right from the start, we were learning - not just the practicalities of DIY massage but about the opportunity it offers to communicate better with each other. We left with some new skills - but, also, a new way to interact with, better understand and have fun with each other. Massage is such a wonderful way of surfacing and sharing the tensions we might not have realised we're holding onto - something that Carolyn very naturally brought awareness to. The techniques she taught us were simple, effective and very much adapted to our different physicalities. Oh, and it was so much fun too! We laughed. A lot. Bringing you closer together
A recent study by Northumbria University found that when couples - who were new to massage - exchanged massages, it improved both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

We specialise in helping couples get the most out of their time together at home by providing practical hands-on lessons utilising plain, non-medical language. Our 1-2-1 couples massage tutorials are 1.5 hours long and are fun and lighthearted. This is not a professional massage qualification, so the techniques taught are adapted to what works for you on an individual basis.
Occasionally, we will run a small 2hr workshop where you can learn these techniques in a group environment so please subscribe to our newsletter to be in the loop.
