Valentine Couples Workshop

- The Kitchen Table & Sofa -
Sat, 15 Feb 2025 | Learn practical techniques to massage each other at the kitchen table or when you're watching TV...

Ever wish you could give your partner a proper shoulder massage when they are at the kitchen table working on their laptop?

Wouldn't it be nice if at the end of the day, while you are "Netflix and chilling", if you could help each other relax with a lovely foot massage that doesn't make your thumbs feel like they are falling off?

This Valentine's Day, connect with your loved one by learning the right techniques to help each other relax in everyday situations like the above.

In this workshop, we are focusing on the practical, day-to-day elements of massage at home. As many of us are now working from home following Covid-19, this is a great opportunity to make the most of our time together by offering support and care in the form of physical touch, helping each other relief stress from both physiological and mental stress.

A recent study by Northumbria University found that when couples - who were new to massage - exchanged massages, it improved both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Our workshop will be divided into two sections:

  1. The kitchen table - how to give an invigorating neck and shoulder massage to your partner who's been working on their computer at the kitchen table/home office.

  2. On the sofa - how you can help each other relax at the end of the day while watching Netflix. We will be covering either hand/feet as well as head massage.
