What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a natural non-psychoactive (minus THC, which is associated with the "high" feeling) element found in hemp plants. CBD, possess all the health benefits of the cannabis plant minus the psychoactive effects of THC.

What CBD oil do Khoo Massage Therapies use?

We have sourced our CBD oil directly from a farm in Jamaica where the cannabis plant is grown organically outdoors.

  • if you have mild or are in therapy for depression

  • if you are suffering from mild or are in therapy for anxiety and stress

  • if you suffer from insomnia

  • if you are receiving therapy for Post Traumatic Stress

...and face and shoulder.

This is a signature massage specially developed by Carolyn for those of us who suffer from shoulder stiffness, tensed neck, knots in shoulder blades, migraines, jaw ache (TMJ) etc. Basically, anyone generally stressed from sitting in front of the computer all day.

Happy Woman

...classic relaxation massage.

A gentle and soothing full body massage that applies gentle broad strokes with some passive joint movements if required. Gentler than deep tissue and better suited for those interested in relaxation and tension relief.

... relaxing yet therapeutic massage.

Some therapists believe it's impossible to have a Deep Tissue massage that is both intensely strong but also deeply relaxing. We prove that myth wrong with our unique blend of controlled pace, high concentration, strong pressure and intuition. We also don't believe in the no pain, no gain idea. We do believe that everyone has different needs and thresholds so we would rather get it just right for you by working together with you.

Pregnancy & Postnatal.

Most people think that pregnant ladies and new mums are fragile creature to be stroked gently. While we are more than happy to gently deliver a relaxing treatment for the Mums who prefer it, we know that Mums are still people with different needs. We understand that as your body change, you need someone who really understands how to safely develop a treatment unique to you which might mean some added attention to certain areas.

...for sore muscles.

Carolyn incorporates Hot Stones in most of her treatments especially during a cold winter's day. Our warming hot stones therapy melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. We recommend booking at least 1hr 30mins in order to promote deeper muscle relaxation.

Traditional Thai Foot Massage incorporates elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology and Chinese Massage and is implemented through the use of Thai Foot Massage Stick as well as the palms, fingers, thumbs and knuckles. All full body treatments include foot massage unless you stipulate otherwise. You can have our Thai Foot Massage as a standalone treatment as well if preferred.

...Drainage.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is an advanced therapy in which the practitioner uses a range of specialised and gentle rhythmic pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of the lymph flow. This therapy can assist in boosting your immune system by removing biochemical waste from body tissues. It can also assist in water retention which can occur during pregnancy as well as a sedentary lifestyle. MLD has also been known to help reduce the signs of scar tissue from cosmetic surgery.
